You will be sent an information pack on final payment / confirmation which includes a bell tent inventory, a full list of what we provide and suggestions of what to bring. To give you an idea of what you need to bring here is a quick list - bed linen (duvets and pillows provided), towels, clothes and shoes and wellies suitable for the great outdoors (if you're unlucky it can get chilly in the evenings and flip flops are not the ideal thing to go exploring in), a torch (unsurprisingly it gets very dark and sometimes lighting a candle or winding up a lantern isn't practical), some toiletries (although we provide environmentally friendly shower gel, shampoo and conditioner which we insist you use). And that is pretty much how short the list is. Hooray - no more packing the kitchen sink (we provide one of those along with washing up liquid and tea towels)! On confirmation we also send you a visitor guide so you can make the most of your stay or download your copy now on the STAY page.
Food can be prepared and eaten outside your tent (picnic bench and raised gas burner) or at the communal dining shelter. Each tent has a cool box (fresh ice packs supplied), charcoal BBQ (with starter charocal and more available to buy), double burner outdoor gas stove (includes use of gas but you MUST sign for use), outside fire brazier (firewood availbale to buy). We also supply all the basic prep and eating utensils you should need. We have a small on site honesty shop, the Polgreen Pantry (open 8-10 am and 5-7pm), where you can buy freshly baked bread, lots of cupboard essentials and replenishment supplies. We have a communal pick your own salad patch and herb pots. There are also some great local stores and farm shops which you can buy most supplies from.
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
You can arrive anytime after 3pm and before 8pm and find your own bell tent (you will be provided with a mini map) but if you want a personal welcome we request that you arrive between 3 and 5pm when we will be available. We kindly ask that you vacate your bell tent by 10am on your day of departure.
We allow for one car per bell tent, please advise us if you need to bring another and we will see what we can do. Cars are not allowed by your tent to keep noise and wildlife disturbance down. On arrival you can park next to the camping valley and walk your gear to your tent (we have wheel barrows to help!).
