Stay Terms:

By submitting a booking form you agreed to our Stay Terms. The person making the booking is taking responsibility that all members of their booking will be aware of and abide by these terms of stay. Anyone not abiding by these terms will be asked to leave Polgreen and will not be refunded. You are responsible for leaving your bell tent and site area in the condition it was found and your deposit may be retained if it is not left in a satisfactory condition, you may also be asked to make an additional payment if we incur costs beyond the deposit. We reserve the right to refuse to hand over a bell tent to anyone who, in our reasonable opinion, is not suitable to take charge of it or does not meet our booking criteria.

The glampsite is in a private meadow on our farm and while it is yours to enjoy we ask that you respect the wildlife that you share the area with and our few neighbours that we share the farm lane with. Noise must be kept to a reasonable level at all times and a minimum after dark. The site is not suitable for large groups, it's a retreat where you can relax, have fun and enjoy getting away from it all. Sorry, we are a no dogs / pets site.

The bell tent is yours for the duration of your stay however we ask that you maintain a tidy site during your stay. We ask that outdoor shoes are not worn inside / beyond the door mat of the bell tents. We have ample refuse, food waste and recycling bins and request that you don't leave rubbish or food waste around the site as it attracts unwanted animals. During your stay we make daily site maintenance visit to check that all the facilities are working correctly and to do any groundswork that is needed. Any problems during your stay - don't worry we'll be on hand if you need us.

No smoking or naked flames are allowed inside the bell tents. Fires are only permitted in the Fire Pit area and it should remain sited where it is sited on your arrival - open fires present a fire risk. The double burner gas stove is included in your booking but can only be used after you have been given a demonstration. You are responsible for reading and following all the instructions provided with the supplied equipment and within the bell tent. You are taking full responsibility for use of the equipment and are expected to take every reasonable precaution against injury to yourself or others. We will not accept any liability for use, misuse or failure to follow instructions when on our site or using any of the supplied equipment.

Please be aware that as well as being a holiday destination we are also a working farm and we do ask everyone to behave responsibly on our farm and in the surrounding area. To keep the environment as natural as possible and so as not to restrict wildlife movement we have kept fencing to a minimum. We ask that you don't explore beyond the (4 acre) valley meadow without our permission or without children being accompanied by an adult. As with any countryside space there are natural hazards; ditches, streams, tree roots, nettles and brambles to name a few.

Departure time is by 10am on your day of departure. We ask that your bell tent and site area is left clean and tidy on your departure, with all rubbish and recycling correctly dealt with, personal items removed, crockery, cutlery and kitchenalia washed, dried and packed away, bell tents swept out, all bedding left on beds where applicable, facility doors closed and bell tent doors zipped closed. We provide lots of housekeeping gear to make keeping things clean easy during your stay. We understand that accidents happen, if something is broken please just let us know as soon as possible so we can replace it for you. Any limited breakages that we are informed of in good time will not be deducted from your refundable deposit.

Fulfillment of these terms will mean that we will refund your £100 (per bell tent) cleaning, breakages and damage deposit.
